Whereabouts is The Lodge?
The Lodge is Newbury Racecourse’s on-site hotel located at the heart of the Racecourse estate, just a two minute walk from Newbury Racecourse’s very own train station.
It’s also only a 10-15 minute from Newbury’s main train station.
How do I get to The Lodge?
If you’re driving please use post code RG14 5AW and once on-site at the Racecourse please head for Car Park 2.
If you’re travelling by train Newbury Racecourse has its own train station (Newbury Racecourse) which is a two minute walk from The Lodge.
Alternatively, Newbury’s main station is a 10 minute walk away from The Lodge.
Do you offer parking? Is it free?
Yes, free on-site parking is available for all guests at The Lodge and does not need to be pre-booked.
What are check in and check out times?
Check-in is available at The Lodge is from 3pm while check-out is by 11am.
How can I request an early check in or late check out?

What type of breakfast do you serve?
We offer freshly cooked English breakfasts to order with a selection of cereals, pastries, and seasonal fruits also available.
What time is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served 7am – 9am on weekdays and 7:30am – 11am on weekends.
Where is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served in The Lodge’s bar, adjacent to reception.
Does The Lodge have a bar?
Yes, The Lodge has a feature bar and this is open until 11pm.
Does The Lodge serve food throughout the day?
Yes, The Lodge’s bar and kitchen serves it’s lunch and dinner menu every day from 11am to 10pm.
Does The Lodge show live sport?
Yes, The Lodge regularly shows live sport with all Sky Sports channels available.
Does The Lodge have a gym?
While The Lodge doesn’t have its own gym those staying at The Lodge are entitled to discounted access to Nuffield Health, which is also located on the Newbury Racecourse estate.
What amenities will be available in my room?
Rooms at The Lodge boast a Super King bed, 32’’ wall-mounted TV, en-suite bathroom, hair dryer and tea & coffee making facilities.
Does The Lodge offer Wi-Fi?
Yes, The Lodge offers free Wi-Fi for all guests.
Do you take cash payments?
We are a cashless site. We can no longer take cash on any occasion. We kindly ask you please pay by card or contactless device.
