Record Demand During Priority Sale For 2025’s Racing Action
With the flagship Coral Gold Cup meeting arriving in a matter of weeks, attention has begun to turn to next year’s action at Newbury and with just 24 hours left in the Racecourse’s exclusive priority sale for 2025’s racedays, the best value tickets and passes are proving extremely popular with racing fans.
Newbury’s priority sale – which launched last week – enables racegoers to access tickets ahead of the general public and the demand seen in the exclusive pre-sale has been record-breaking.
All tickets and racedays are available for less than in 2024 and racing fans have been out in force during the priority sale; snapping up 58% more best value tickets and passes compared to 2024 with the Racecourse’s Super Early Bird discount guaranteeing those who book early get the best deal.
The priority sale has seen the release of Newbury’s new Premier Plus ticket which unlocks access to a private lounge as well as use of a private bar facility, reserved seating and a complimentary racecard along with a host of other benefits on weekend racedays. These new tickets have proved particularly popular – having already sold out for next May’s Lockinge with Ladies Day and close to selling out for both the Dubai Duty Free Spring Trials and BetVictor March Racing Weekend.
The Racecourse’s popular ‘Four Saturdays’ pass – the most eye-catching of the multi day passes available – entitling admission to four big Saturday racedays including Dubai Duty Free Spring Trials, Lockinge with Ladies Day, BetVictor Flat Finale with Oktoberfest and the Coral Gold Cup – are also moving quicker than ever before. These passes are available from just £79.
Newbury overhauled their ticket offering in 2024 to offer bigger and better discounts for those attending as part of a group and the priority sale has seen a record number of groups book their spot at next year’s action with a 15% increase year-on-year – groups of seven or more racegoers are able to save on 2025’s racedays.
What’s more, these group savings – and savings for multi-day passes such as the ‘Four Saturdays’ Pass – are all available in addition to the discounts available for booking early, so the earlier tickets and passes are booked, the bigger the saving.
