2026 Newbury Racecourse Members To Receive Free Share In Racehorse For Second Year Running

Following a hugely successful first year, Newbury Racecourse is delighted to announce that all 2026 Members will once again receive a complimentary share in an exciting racehorse – Brodie’s Boy – courtesy of its ongoing partnership with Racing Club.

This marks the second year of an initial three-year collaboration between Newbury Racecourse and Racing Club, offering Members the exclusive opportunity to experience the thrill of racehorse ownership at no additional cost.

Brodie’s Boy has recently joined All Weather Champion Trainer Tony Carroll and looks to have a promising career ahead. From a strong pedigree, the four-year-old gelding has already secured one win and three runner-up finishes in his career to date.

The confirmation of Brodie’s Boy follows the popularity of last year’s Members’ Horse, Wendigo, who finished second in the Grade 1 Challow Novices’ Hurdle at Newbury and went on to place a gallant fifth in the Grade 1 Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. Alongside a free share in Brodie’s Boy, 2025 Members have been offered the opportunity to renew their share in Wendigo at a discounted rate and more than 50% of Members have already taken up the opportunity to follow Wendigo for another year.

Newbury’s 2026 Memberships go on sale at 10am on Tuesday 9th September, with the free share in Brodie’s Boy – worth £55 – available to claim once renewing or joining. As always, Memberships offer the best value at Newbury Racecourse, with a packed calendar of fixtures, exclusive Member benefits, and an ownership experience that brings fans even closer to the sport.

The ownership in Brodie’s Boy runs through until 31st July 2026 with the Racecourse and Racing Club’s partnership also guaranteeing eligible Members a free share in 2027. Courtesy of their share in Brodie’s Boy and joining the Racing Club syndicate, Members can expect to receive regular updates on their horse and opportunities to visit Tony Carroll’s yard, as well as being entitled to a share of any prize money won.

Racing Club also offers syndicate members additional hospitality opportunities through monthly ballots. Hospitality tickets at The O2, Wembley Stadium and Southampton FC can be won alongside hospitality upgrades at Newbury Racecourse.
