Newbury Achieve Gold Standard in Racecourse Accreditation Scheme

Newbury Racecourse are pleased to have achieved the highly coveted Gold Standard in the Racecourse Accreditation Scheme for 2023.

The Racecourse ranked 8th out of a total of 60 racecourses who participated in the programme.

Receipt of the Gold Standard is an exciting accomplishment that recognises Newbury’s continued efforts to enhance the on-course experience for all owners. It is rewarded to racecourses for an exemplary performance.

A spokesperson for the ROA noted that the association “recognises that going racing with a runner is the pinnacle of owning a racehorse and therefore is delighted that Newbury continue to fully engage with this process to improve and enhance the raceday experience.”

We are very proud to receive the highest standard in the Racecourse Accreditation Scheme, and such an award is a credit to the wonderfully hard-working team we have here.
