Newbury Racecourse Business Club Returns For Another Standout Event

Earlier this month, the iconic Royal Box at Newbury Racecourse played host to the latest Newbury Racecourse Business Club presented by Circa UK, powered by Network My Club.

The event brought together professionals from across the region for an afternoon of sport-inspired discussion, networking, and insight from former English international cricketer,  Monty Panesar.

Guests gathered in the prestigious Royal Box, which offered panoramic views of the racecourse and a setting ideal for business and conversation.

Phoebe Coppell from the Newbury Racecourse sales team provided an overview of the venue’s flexible event spaces, ranging from expansive hospitality suites to smaller, private meeting rooms.

In Conversation with Monty Panesar

Former England cricketer Monty Panesar began by sharing his personal journey, reflecting on his Test debut for England and his transition to life beyond cricket. Following his talk, he joined Gus Mackay for a Q and A session. Thanks to Circa UK for making that happen.

Behind the Scenes Course Walk
To close the event, George Hill, Clerk of the Course, led guests on an exclusive walk of the track, sharing an inside look at the meticulous preparation involved in readying the racecourse for event days.

Looking Ahead

The next Newbury Racecourse event will be a Race Day Networking Experience on Tuesday 5 August, combining business and sport in an exciting live environment.
