Newbury Members To Receive Free Share In A Racehorse Courtesy Of Racing Club
Newbury Racecourse have today unveiled an exciting new benefit for Members. Courtesy of a new partnership with Racing Club, 2025 Newbury Racecourse Members will receive a share in a racehorse – worth £60 – for free.
Racing Club is an innovative provider of racehorse syndicates aiming to bring like-minded individuals together. Amongst their portfolio of horses is Wendigo, a five-year-son of Great Pretender in training with Lambourn-based trainer, Jamie Snowden. Having had five career starts under rules, Wendigo has won three races and placed in his other two runs. Improving in all starts, there are high hopes that Wendigo will progress to be a jumping star for the syndicate.
Following the new multi-year partnership, 2025 Newbury Racecourse Members will enjoy a free share – worth £60 – in Wendigo. Trained by last year’s Coral Gold Cup winning trainer, Wendigo could be targeted at Newbury’s sole Grade 1 of the National Hunt season, the Coral Challow Novices’ Hurdle. All eligible 2025 Members will have received an email today with news of how to claim their free share with Racing Club while any Members joining and renewing ahead of 2025 will receive details of their free share after confirming their Racecourse Membership.
2025 Newbury Members part-ownership of Wendigo runs through until 31st August 2025 with the Racecourse and Racing Club’s partnership also guaranteeing eligible Members a free share in a racehorse in 2026 and 2027. Courtesy of their share in Wendigo and joining the Racing Club syndicate, Members can expect to receive regular updates on their horse and opportunities to visit Jamie Snowden’s yard as well as being entitled to a share in any prize money won by Wendigo.
The Racing Club also offers syndicate members additional hospitality opportunities through monthly ballots. Hospitality tickets at The O2, Wembley Stadium and Southampton FC can be won alongside hospitality upgrades at Newbury Racecourse.
