Newbury Racecourse Partner With Sports4Causes To Afford Racegoers New Owner Experiences
Sports4Causes, the pilot ownership scheme enabling racegoers the opportunity to experience a day at the races as an owner, is now available at all of Newbury Racecourse’s racedays in 2025.
As part of the new partnership between Newbury Racecourse and Sports4Causes, racing enthusiasts have the opportunity to purchase a “once in a lifetime” owner’s race day experience at the Berkshire track. The scheme, in which affiliated owners donate their unused badges, gives racegoers the chance to trial the racehorse owner experience. The package available to purchase includes VIP car parking, exclusive access to the OLBG Owners’ Club for the duration of the day, a dedicated race day host, complimentary lunch in the OLBG Owners’ Club as well as access to the parade ring for an exclusive meet and greet with a jockey/trainer.
Tickets start from £150 per person and bookings can be made directly through the Sports4Causes website with 40% of the badge price donated directly to Racing Welfare to support the charity’s vital work.

Rupert Fowler, Founder of Sports4Causes, commented: “We are thrilled to partner with Newbury Racecourse as one of Britain’s most prestigious Group 1 tracks.
“Shaun [Hinds] and his team have been extremely embracing of the initiative since its inception last year, and our customers have been overawed by the owners’ facilities Newbury Racecourse offers. We are hopeful that this new partnership and product positioning on the Racecourse website will offer great brand exposure. We look forward to welcoming guests for memorable days on course, while continuing to raise funds for our deserving chosen charity, Racing Welfare.”
Shaun Hinds, Chief Executive of Newbury Racecourse, commented: “We have had a fantastic start to the year here at Newbury with attendances on the rise and we are delighted to partner with Sports4Causes to offer our racegoers an alternative and unique raceday experience, all while raising money for charity. The Racecourse is gearing up for our biggest ever summer of racing with four music racedays in the calendar so there are plenty of opportunities for fans to enjoy the owner experience in the coming weeks and months.’’
