Party In The Paddock Rewind

Party In The Paddock Rewind

With 2025’s Party In The Paddock our biggest yet, we’re looking back at the incredible artists who’ve graced the stage over the years.

PARTY IN THE PADDOCK RACEDAYS

It all began back in 2008, when Boyzone brought the very first Party In The Paddock to life – kicking off a tradition that’s become a must-attend event on the summer calendar.

The Glory Years: Late 2000s to 2010s

This era saw a star-studded lineup take to the stage, including Simply Red, Rod Stewart, Calvin Harris, Craig David, The Beach Boys, and Tom Jones – each leaving their mark on the Newbury crowd.

Simply Red became a fan favourite, lighting up the stage two years in a row after a show-stopping debut in 2009. Their final visit in 2016 marked the culmination of a remarkable run of performances at Newbury.

In 2010 and 2011, it was all about the boy bands, with Westlife and The Wanted delivering unforgettable performances.

Iconic Comebacks & Fan Favourites

In 2015, Björn Again made their debut to roaring applause – and they’re back this year on Friday 15th August for another round of ABBA-inspired magic.

BJÖRN AGAIN

Madness has brought the house down not once, not twice, but three times – 2009, 2015, and 2019 – each performance bigger than the last. Tom Jones also returned to the stage on three separate occasions in 2011, 2019 and 2023. Meanwhile, Olly Murs became a regular favourite, performing in 2017, 2021, and 2023. Craig David returned for encore performances in 2018 and 2022, proving some acts are just too good for one night only.

A Legacy of Legends

From Jessie J, Rita Ora, and Meat Loaf, to Will Young, Jess Glynne, Rudimental, Annie Mac, and Pete Tong – Party In The Paddock has hosted a who’s who of music royalty.

Last year, Sigala and Dizzee Rascal lit up the stage, leaving the crowd on a high and setting the tone for what promises to be our most spectacular summer yet.
