What To Expect From Newbury’s Biggest Summer Of Music
TICKETS
Saturday 19th July launches our Party In The Paddock series in style, with Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Ella Henderson set to co-headline live after racing.
The Premier Raceday also features the Weatherbys Super Sprint – a race established at Newbury in 1991 for two-year-olds sold for a maximum of £65,000. Run over five furlongs, it’s one of the shortest races of Newbury’s flat season and always delivers thrilling results – including last year’s winner – Caburn – who gave trainer Jack Jones his biggest win to date.
Off-Track Entertainment
There’s more than just racing to enjoy – here’s what else is happening around the course during the day:
Trips to the start: Join ex-jockey David Crosse for a close-up view of the horses at the starting stalls, or get insider insights on a Parade Ring Tour.
Roaming Band: Our roaming band – Fat Cats Brass Band – will keep the energy high throughout the day, getting the party started before the main acts hit the stage.
Hits Radio Party Tent: Explore the Hits Radio Party Tent where you’ll find free Glitter Face painting, plus plenty more to enjoy.
Live Rugby Broadcast: Catch all the action as we screen British & Irish Lions vs Australia live from 11:00am on the ground floor of every building.
Sampling Stations: Enjoy complimentary samples from San Miguel, High Water, and Wild Idol throughout the day.
Spin the Wheel: Try your luck for a chance to enter exclusive ticket prize draws.
Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Ella Henderson
After the final race, the music takes over – from 6:00pm, Ella Henderson will get the party started, followed by Sophie Ellis-Bextor closing the show with her iconic hits.
Tickets to Weatherbys Super Sprint with Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Ella Henderson can still be purchased from our website.
