What To Expect From Newbury’s Final Party In The Paddock Raceday

2025 has been Newbury's biggest summer of music yet, and here's everything you can expect from our final Party In The Paddock raceday

Newbury’s 2025 Party In The Paddock series closes in style on Saturday 20th September, with James Bay headlining live after racing.

The Premier Raceday also features the Dubai Duty Free Mill Reef Stakes (In Honour Of Geoff Lewis) – a Group 2 race open to two-year-olds, run over six furlongs. The race has a total prize pot of £125,000, with an added bonus of £50,000 to the winner if they have won another two-year-old race at here Newbury this season.


Off-Track Entertainment

There’s more than just racing to enjoy – here’s what else is happening around the Racecourse during the day:

Trips to the start: Join ex-jockey David Crosse for a close-up view of the horses at the starting stalls, or get insider insights on a Parade Ring Tour.
Absolute Radio Party Tent:
Explore the Absolute Radio Party Tent where you’ll find free face painting, plus plenty more to enjoy.
Sampling Stations: 
Enjoy complimentary samples from Wild Idol throughout the day.
Spin the Wheel & The Dubai Duty Free Marquee:
Try your luck for a chance to win some fantastic prizes, while enjoying Arabic delicacies courtesy of Dubai Duty Free.


Deaf Community Activation

Dubai Duty Free International Weekend with James Bay marks the Racecourse’s first-ever Deaf Aware music raceday. All seven races on the card will be accompanied by British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation, culminating in a live BSL-interpreted performance by James Bay.
Throughout the day, guests from deaf communities can enjoy a range of inclusive activations, including guided tours of the Parade Ring and Weighing Room, meet & greets with trainers and jockeys, and much more – all supported with BSL to ensure a welcoming experience for all.
